Management Workshop |

A training workshop on management was held at the NAPC premises during 17-21 July 2005. The objective of the workshop was to acquaint selected NAPC staff with managerial concepts and practices. The training was delivered by two lecturers from The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), namely Ms B Kinnera Murthy and Mr S Padam, with the support of Mr N.S Parthasarathy, the International Institutional Support Consultant recruited by the FAO Project to support NAPC. The workshop, including theoretical presentations on management related issues; management enhancement; concept of management & its importance for policy research scientific institutions, developing a research culture & leading peer groups in addiction to other related issues, was delivered and complemented with in-class exercises using the method of learning by doing. |
