About the Electronic Document Repository (E.D.R.)

Overview:

The EDR is a collection of electronic documents which is available for use by NAPC staff. The idea behind the EDR is that it provides the NAPC with extensive research material which can then be used to improve the studies of the NAPC. Often it is difficult to find the right document when you need it, the idea is that this repository will cut the time spent searching and also ensure that a high quality of documents are used.

Details:

Each division has its own section which is populated with a collection of documents, subdivided to reflect the areas of study of the particular division. Of course there is some cross-over, so don't hesitate to use to look in other divisional repositories.

The EDR is fitted with a Google powered search which is able to browse all the items on the EDR; so you can simply type in keywords that you are looking for and have a complete list returned to you.

Each document is listed with its title, language, author, publication details (date, page numbers, format) and has an accompanying list of keywords to facilitate your search.

The EDR is only available on the intranet, and therefore should not be shared with others outside the NAPC - it is an internal resource.

Suggestions:

If you have any suggestions for how the EDR might be better, or an extra document to add to the list which you would like to share with the NAPC staff - don't hesitate to contact one of the InfoComm team to help you.
